Mass Casualty Management (MCM) training in Cario
In August 2022 the International Committee of the Red Cross (ICRC) conducted a Mass Casualty Management (MCM) training in Cario in collaboration with the Armed Forces Medical Service (AFMS) of the Egyptian military.
The training was to support the medical military services to enhance their emergency response capacity in case of any kind of mass casualty incident (all hazard approach) in and outside of Egypt. Participants were nurses and doctors of the Egyptian armed forces medical services and the main focus was joined command & control and the need for a multi-agency mass casualty management approach.
