Emergo Train System (ETS) is an academic / educational simulation system used in several countries around the world for training and testing the preparedness and management of emergencies, major incidents and disasters.

The ETS Competence center will arrange an ETS meeting for ETS Senior instructors and Educators at the next World Association for Disaster and Emergeny Medicine (WADEM) congress which will be held May 9-12 2023 in Killarney, Ireland. The ETS meeting will be held Tuesday May 9 at 11.00 in room MoD Suite 5. Hope to see you there!

The ETS Competence center conducted a Swedish ETS Senior instructor course in Stockholm March 14-16. The course was specifically for Region Stockholm and participants were from different hospitals in the greater Stockholm region. They can now set up and run trainings and exercises with the help of ETS in their own hospitals. Several health care regions in Sweden are using ETS as a tool for training in emergency and disaster medicine as well as psychosocial support.
The ETS Competence center in collaboration with Zentrum für angewandte Notfallwissenschaft GmbH (ZaNowi), are translating and customizing the ETS Hospital set and in-hospital patient banks to German. ZaNowi have a number of certified ETS Senior instructors and the German Hospital set is now tested in a number of exercises.
On February 8-10, the ETS Competence center held a very international ETS Senior instructor course with 17 participants from 10 different countries: Belgium, Switzerland, Canada, Jordan, Germany, Ethiopia, Italy, United Kingdom, Denmark and Sweden!

We are happy to announce that the Memorandum of Understanding between the International Committee of the Red Cross (ICRC) and Emergo Train System (ETS) have been renewed for 3 years. ICRC is using ETS as training tool in several trainings and educations around the world. A project between ETS Competence center and ICRC developing a special Humanitarian set for ICRC is also started. We are looking forward to more collaboration in the future!
From January 15-19 the International Committee of the Red Cross (ICRC) Gaza sub-delegation conducted a Basic Ambulance Responder Training (BART) joined by the Ministry of Health, Civil defense and the Military Medical Services. Several Mass Casualty Incidents (MCI's) were simulated in table-top exercises by using the Emergo Train System training material.
