About ETS
Emergo Train System (ETS) is an academic / educational simulation system used in several countries around the world for training and testing the preparedness and management of emergencies, major incidents and disasters.
The ETS Bomb/blast trauma victim bank is now available also in Dutch! The victim bank is available in medium (100 patients) and small (50 patients). All patients have a management card.
The bank can be used for scenarios such as for example:
terror attack
war scenarios
accident with explosion
The victims are divided into primary, secondary and quarternary injuries correlated to the distance of the energy source.
The bank includes most of the regular ETS patient outcome categories 1 to 25. Some of the victims are children under 12 years. They can be evaluated using the special pediatric patient outcome template.
The victim bank have been tested in exercises held by the International Committee of the Red Cross (ICRC) in Jordan and in exercises held by KMC – Centre for Teaching & Research in Disaster Medicine, Sweden. Special thanks to the ETS faculty in Zwolle for the help with translation of the victim bank to Dutch.
