ETS Senior Instructor Course Strengthens Humanitarian Training Capacity

On August 18-20, the ETS Competence Center welcomed participants from the Norwegian Red Cross (NorCross) and the International Committee of the Red Cross (ICRC) to an international ETS Senior Instructor Course.

The ICRC uses the Emergo Train System (ETS) to support training and simulation activities around the world and is an important partner in the ongoing development of the ETS Humanitarian Set. This specialized training package is designed to strengthen preparedness and response capabilities in low- and middle-income countries through simulation-based learning.

The course brought together experienced instructors from both organizations to further develop their skills in planning, facilitating, and evaluating ETS-based exercises. By building a global network of qualified instructors, the collaboration contributes to strengthening humanitarian preparedness and training capacity worldwide.

We are proud to continue our long-standing collaboration with the ICRC and NorCross and are pleased to announce that 22 participants successfully completed the course and are now certified ETS Senior Instructors!
