In December, the IFRC and Qatar Red Crescent Society hosted a regional Mass Casualty Management training, bringing together National Societies from across the Middle East and North Africa. The training was held in Doha.
Using the Emergo Train System (ETS) Humanitarian Set—a version adapted for low- and middle-income settings and jointly developed with the ICRC—participants enhanced their ability to prepare for, respond to, and manage mass-casualty incidents and acute public health emergencies.
This hands-on simulation equips Red Cross and Red Crescent staff and volunteers with the skills to deliver standardized, coordinated, and lifesaving pre-hospital interventions across the region.
