We are happy to announce that Emergo Train System now have initiated a partnership with the International Committee of the Red Cross! This broadens the use of ETS to facilitate and support international medical disaster respons missions. A Memorandum of Understanding was signed in February 2020 between International Committee of the Red Cross and Emergo Train System/Region Östergötland.
The Emergency hospitals in the Stockholm region have used ETS for several years. On January 21-23, the ETS Competence center conducted an ETS Senior instructor course at Södersjukhuset (one of the largest hospitalts in Stockholm). The participants came from all the emergency hospitals in the Stockholm region. There are now 12 new Senior instructors in the Stockholm region who can set up exercises with ETS!
After this year 2019 we can summarize that a total of 2 336 persons from 42 countries have participated in the standardized ETS Senior instructor course. This includes 271 new Senior instructors that was certified this year.
A new ETS Educator faculty was started in Greece this autumn and today we have 126 Educators in 14 faculties that have the agreement of conducting their own Senior instructor courses.
It is with great pleasure we see how ETS is spread around the world thanks to all dedicated ETS Senior instructors and Educators and we like to take the opportunity to wish all of you a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year!
The ETS Competence center
Is your organisation prepared for a major incident? Do you need to train your hospital staff in surge capacity? Does your ambulance organisation need training in pre-hospital command and control? This is examples of trainings in which you can use Emergo Train System (ETS). The ETS Competence center will conduct two international ETS Senior instructor courses 2020. During the course you will learn how to plan, set up run and evaluate exercises with ETS. Course language English.
Soon there will be a German Pre-hospital set and trauma victim bank version 4. It is the ”Euregionales Bildungszentrum” from the Malteser Hilfsdienst in Aachen who together with the ETS Competence center have translated and customized the ETS training material.

The meeting will be hosted by KMC - Centre for Teaching & Research in Disaster Medicine and Traumatology in Linköping, Sweden and the ETS Competence Center.
