In September 2018, 24 participants attended the ETS Senior Instructors Course in Perth, Western Australia. Course participants included a pre-hospital and hospital staff including nurses, doctors, training and disaster management staff from both metropolitan and regional areas.
The course was a great success and participants have expressed great enthusiasm for running their first exercise as an ETS Senior Instructor. The proposed exercises encompass a range of focuses including responses to code red/orange fire and evacuation emergencies, as well as code brown external emergencies potentially requiring multi-agency responses.
